Abstract

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is the most commonly diagnosed neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by behavioral abnormalities such as increased activity, poor concentration, and reduced attention span, which significantly impact personal and academic performance. The subtypes includes Hyperactive(HA) type, Inattentive(IA) type and Mixed type. Nosodes are potentized homeopathic medicines prepared from diseased products sourced from various substances, including tissue samples, mucus, pus from discharges, or pure cultures of microorganisms. They are used in both medical and behavioral conditions. Numerous studies and literature support the effectiveness of nosodes in treating behavioral disorders. This review aims to identify a group of remedies that have a profound effect on disorders like ADHD. In homeopathic practice, achieving a holistic understanding of individualized symptoms is essential to selecting the appropriate similimum, which leads to early and lasting recovery from illness. In cases of childhood behavioral problems, gathering reliable symptoms can be challenging, particularly in children raised by single parents, separated parents, or grandparents. Due to the limited availability of symptoms, the most characteristic and intensified disease symptoms were collected and repertorized using RADAR 10 software to identify a group of nosode remedies. In such scenarios, deep-acting nosode remedies may potentially yield positive results. This review explores the significance of using nosodes in managing childhood behavioral disorders such as ADHD.
