Tridax procumbens l. also known as coat buttons is a perennial plant from the Asteraceae family that originated in central America but now can be found throughout the tropics and sub tropics. It is a highly valuable plant with a maximum number of pharmacological activity and is one of the essential ingredients in most of the compound preparations of Ayurvedic literature.[1]
