Abstract

ABSTRACT: Employee motivation refers to the level of energy, commitment, and creativity that employees bring to their work. It plays a crucial role in organizational success by directly influencing productivity, job satisfaction, and overall company performance. In IT companies, where innovation and problem-solving are core business activities, motivated employees are essential for maintaining competitive advantage, meeting project deadlines, and delivering high-quality services. This paper explores the impact of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) on employee motivation, job satisfaction, and loyalty in the IT sector. Through a descriptive analysis, it highlights how ESOPs foster a sense of ownership among employees, and various structures of ESOPs across different company sizes and ownership types, emphasizing the financial and emotional benefits of stock ownership. Ultimately, the findings suggest that when effectively implemented and communicated, ESOPs can serve as a powerful tool for IT companies to cultivate a motivated, loyal workforce, driving long-term organizational success and innovation in a competitive landscape.
