Design of Smart Display Based On IoT : A Real Time Notice Board

Abstract

Mirrors, with the advancements in technology when turned to smart displays, make our lives even better. The main objective of our article is to combine the mirrors with intelligence and technology. Considering the future of Internet of Things (IoT) based smart mirrors, there usage in various fields of human life collaborated its entire smart feature and a smart display is designed by using Raspberry pi version3 is proposed in this work. This display is used a counter for user queries, personal assistant. It also used to exhibit the significant information, circular and notice of the colleges. By using this can able to interact and give solutions for basic questions like the existing applications Siri, Alexa etc. In this smart display we can show department information to class timetables and guide to various spaces in the institute. A screen is set as a output monitor behind the two way mirror, which shows an output while the screen is on. Aim of this work is to display the information on a display, for that the Raspberry Pi3 microcontroller is used. Date, Time, Name of the faculty, subject, time table, News feed, weather report are successfully displayed as result of implementation.
