This research paper examines the impact of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act and the Food Safety and Standards Act on addressing the issue of food adulteration and its implications for public health in India. The paper reviews the existing literature and secondary data to understand the mechanisms and health consequences of food adulteration, the challenges in implementing food safety regulations, and the role of technological solutions in monitoring and detecting food adulterants.
