Abstract

Corona virus infection is a potentially severe acute respiratory infected caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome Corona virus. It is highly contagious diseases and can be transmitted via animal-to-human and human to-human interaction. We aimed to assess knowledge, practice and perceived barriers among health care personnel. Objectives are to assess knowledge regarding first aid management among Anganwadi workers, to assess the practice of first aid among Anganwadi worker and last to find association between interventional levels of knowledge with their selected socio demographic variable. Methodology describes a Qualitative research design was adopted to conduct the study in selected Village of Vadodara with 70 Anganwadi workers by using simple random sampling technique. The proposed study was conducted after ethical clearance and formal permission from the Principal, Parul Institute of Nursing, Limda. Permission was obtained from selected Anganwadis’ of selected village of Vadodara. Informed consent was taken from the health Anganwadi workers to participate in the study. We found the result in which the Anganwadi workers were more overly having the average knowledge (81%) and practice (78.4%) which is good enough to do the first aid management at village level.
