Challenges and Perspectives of the Digital India Programme

Abstract

The Digital India program is a plan that the Indian government started. They want India to be a country where people can use computers and the internet to get things done easily. They want to make sure the government is fair and helps people by working and being accountable. The government wants to use computers and the internet to give people the services they need. To make this plan work well the government needs to fix some problems. Some people in India do not know how to use computers. The internet is also very slow in some places. The government buildings and other facilities are not good enough. There are also issues with taxes and different government departments do not work well together. This paper is going to look at the Digital India program and what it is trying to do. It will look at the things, about the program and the new things the government is trying. It will also see how these new things are affecting people. The paper will also try to understand the security problems that the Digital India program is facing. The Digital India program has security challenges that need to be addressed to make it successful.
