Acoustic Study of Aqueous Solution of Clindamycin at Different Concentrations and Temperatures
Abstract
Nowadays ultrasonic velocity plays an important role in understanding molecular interactions in solution. Drugs are compounds that are used to treat diseases. Clindamycin is an antimalarial drug. Ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity of aqueous solution were measured at different concentrations and different temperatures. Thermodynamic parameters i.e. intermolecular free length, adiabatic compressibility and specific acoustic impedance were calculated from the experimentally observed values. This helps in predicting molecular interactions.
