Abstract

Over 50 diseases and environmental damage are caused by the untreated discharge of over 80% of sewage produced by human activity into rivers and oceans. Poor water quality is a factor in 80% of diseases and 50% of child mortality worldwide. Finally, 85 pertinent publications were chosen for this paper based on several keywords such as cancer, health, water quality, pollution, and so forth. Although there may be geographical, age, gender, and other disparities in degree, the impact of water contamination on human health is substantial.
