Abstract

The utilization of different habitats was influenced by availability of preferred food plants as well as human interference through different activities. We studied the habitat utilization by wild ungulates namely Blackbuck (Antilope Cervicapra) in around Jodhpur, Rajasthan. We collected the data from different Activity Pattern of arid region of Jodhpur during January 2022 to December 2022. The present activity pattern suggest that blackbuck spend maximum time in foraging, followed by resting and standing and minimum time in lying during day time. The blackbucks are most active during morning and evening hours of day.
