Abstract

Adsorption of Ni (II) ions from aqueous solution by an activated adsorbent known as Delonix Regia shucks Activated with ZnCl2 (DRZAC) under various trial conditions. Adsorption trials in the batch mode were carried out. The van't hoff plots determined thermodynamic functions such as ΔH0 and ΔG0 assumed that the adsorption was extemporaneous with increased irregularity and that it was endothermic after investigating these concepts. It has been established that the results of this research can be employed as the best adsorbent for the adsorption of Ni (II) ions in aqueous solution.
