Abstract

It is an exploratory conceptual model that elaborates on the goal alignment–employee engagement linkages and their impact on organisational performance. These interconnections emphasise the importance of developing internally consistent HRD interventions or programs that align individual skills and knowledge with job characteristics and organisational systems and routines.
