Abstract
Global technology firms, sometimes known as Big Tech , have amassed extraordinary influence and market power in today's quickly changing digital economy . Their hegemony has sparked worries about possible anti-competitive behaviour and the effect on smaller market competitors . As a result, regulatory oversight has increased in countries all over the world, including India. This article analyses the problems with Big Tech, considers the necessity for regulation, looks at the gaps in Indian competition legislation, and makes recommendations for strategies to regulate Big Tech companies.
