Cultivate Millets, Save Soil and Strengthen Sustainable Agriculture in Bharat and Africa
Abstract
This paper explores the millets as an ingredient part of the food chain in the history of India i.e., Bharat and Africa. The movement of millets as a part of trade product from Africa to Bharat and vice versa is noticed carefully and reconnoiters the vitality in the daily lives of their societies. The different phases of Bharat and Africa civilization vehemently adopted the cultivation of millets with the change of environment that helped in protecting the indigenous fertility of the soil and adaptation in their lives. Millets need proper production, advertisement, investment, and promotion among the younger generation being a part of major food diet and use in the agro-industry. Its further caution changing human pseudo parameters of using food value, and to emphasize save soil and save water, food for all, eradicate hunger and poverty, stop wasting of food and urge adopting mix cultivation in building the sustainability. Bharat and Africa usher the millet food basket for the world community in the future and this research paper acts as an insight in this regard.
