Abstract

Green firecrackers have been developed by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) with the primary aim of mitigating pollution and health hazards. These eco-friendly alternatives release pollutants at a significantly lower rate, approximately 30% less than their traditional counterparts. It is crucial for all citizens to be well-informed about green firecrackers. In light of this, a study was conducted to assess public awareness, knowledge, and perceptions of these innovative fireworks.
