A.P STATE FINANCE ISSUES AND PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

An attempt has been made in this paper to analyse the issues pertaining to Andhra Pradesh state finance. The paper mainly highlighting on states own revenue and non-revenue, revenue expenditure and capital expenditure .It also analyses about debt position, interest payments of the state. Further it discusses the main cause for increase in expenditure and economic downturn at various stages. Finally, it concentrates on state bifurcation, the present economic condition of the state. The AP government has to concentrate much more on mobilisation of revenue in different sources without any burden on the people. It has to increase it non tax revenue sources than that of tax revenue. The government must tap every resources of the central government.
