DATABASE SECURITY USING CYBER SECURITY
Abstract
This paper introduces an innovative strategy for enhancing long-term data security within an organization. The core of the approach lies in employing steganography techniques alongside email authentication to strengthen data protection. For example, if a confidential message like "Please withdraw $5 from my account" needs to be sent, it is first encrypted. Steganography, using the Least Significant Bit (LSB) substitution method, is then applied to the encrypted message. The resultant file is emailed to the recipient, who must use a password set by the sender to access the file, adding an extra security layer. This method also allows administrators to retrieve data from another user's inbox if necessary.
