Abstract

As studies in social sciences show, religion plays a significant role in deconstructing and reconstructing the ideas on disability. In Christianity, the ideology marked by the Christian Church signalled out disabilities, thinking it as menace to the community even when state institutions did not acknowledge such human treatment.
