Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have become an essential component of modern intelligent systems by enabling continuous monitoring, environmental sensing, industrial automation, healthcare applications, precision agriculture, and smart city infrastructures. The exponential growth of sensor deployments has resulted in the generation of massive volumes of heterogeneous sensor data, creating significant challenges in data collection, storage, processing, resource utilization, energy efficiency, and real-time decision-making. Big Data Analytics has emerged as an effective computational paradigm capable of extracting meaningful knowledge from large-scale sensor datasets while improving network management and operational efficiency. This experimental study proposes a Big Data Analytics Framework for Efficient Wireless Sensor Network Management that integrates sensor data acquisition, data preprocessing, distributed storage, big data analytics, intelligent data aggregation, resource optimization, and network performance evaluation into a unified computational architecture. The proposed framework incorporates scalable data management, feature extraction, distributed processing, and performance analysis to improve network reliability, energy efficiency, Quality of Service (QoS), and data transmission performance. A mathematical framework and algorithmic strategy are developed to evaluate network throughput, packet delivery ratio, latency, energy consumption, resource utilization, and overall Wireless Sensor Network performance. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that big data analytics significantly enhances sensor data processing, network resource management, communication efficiency, and decision-making while reducing energy consumption and data redundancy. The proposed framework provides valuable guidance for researchers, network engineers, and system developers seeking to design scalable, intelligent, and computationally efficient Wireless Sensor Network management systems.
