THE INFLUENCE OF EMPLOYER BRANDING ON CANDIDATE SELECTION AND HIRING DECISIONS
Abstract
Employer branding has emerged as a crucial factor influencing candidate selection and hiring decisions in the competitive job market. A strong employer brand enhances an organizations attractiveness, leading to a larger and more qualified talent pool while reducing hiring costs and recruitment time. This study examines the relationship between employer branding and its impact on job seekers' application choices, recruiters' decision-making processes, and employee retention. The findings suggest that organizations with a positive employer brand experience higher applicant interest, shorter hiring cycles, and improved employee commitment. By investing in strategic branding initiatives, companies can gain a competitive edge in talent acquisition and workforce management. The study emphasizes the need for businesses to develop a strong employer identity through workplace culture, digital presence, and transparent communication to enhance recruitment and retention outcomes.
