USING SYSTEMS BIOLOGY TO INCREASE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION: A CRITICAL REVIEW STUDY
Abstract
In recent times, the collecting of huge datasets from numerous plant species' genomes, transcriptomes, proteomes, metabolomes, and epigenomes has become routine technique. However, the vast majority of these datasets in different crop species were studied independently, making it impossible to attain comprehensive understanding of the molecular basis of complex features and biological networks. It takes a systems biology approach, which incorporates integration of various omics data, modelling, and prediction of cellular processes
