Abstract

The Protection of Women from Sexual Harassment (POSH) at Workplace Act, 2013 was introduced in India to address sexual harassment against women in workplaces. It mandates employers to establish Internal Complaints Committees (ICCs) to investigate complaints and take appropriate actions against perpetrators. This paper highlights the role of the POSH Act in creating a safer work environment for women, empowering them to voice grievances and raising awareness about the impact of Sexual Harassment on mental and physical health, career prospects, and overall well-being.
