RESOLUTION BASED EVALUATION STUDY OF COMMONLY USED SATELLITE IMAGES FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF WATER RESOURCE FEATURES

Abstract

A detailed analysis on the capability of various satellite image data products and their processing techniques are analysed systematically in this paper. From this piece of study, it is clear that the satellite image digital data products and the spectral bands along with the processing techniques are very important in identifying the water resource details.
