Marketing Sustainable Tourism – Challenges and Opportunities for Destination Marketers
Abstract
The study examined the perception of the destination marketers towards the growth prospects and opportunities as well as various challenges faced by the destination marketers in providing sustainable marketing packages in Chennai. This study used quantitative and empirical research approach to explore the perspectives of sustainable destination marketing among destination marketers in Chennai as well as the obstacles that sustainable destination marketing presents. The research collects the primary data from the destination marketers using the interview schedule which has numerous elements measuring the opportunities and challenges faced by the destination marketers who are promoting sustainable tourism
