Abstract

Abstract: This research paper explores the impact of hotel food policies on guest health and nutritional outcomes. In an era where dietary preferences and health consciousness are on the rise, hotels play a pivotal role in shaping guests' nutritional experiences. This study examines how various food policies implemented by hotels—ranging from menu design and ingredient sourcing to portion control and nutritional labeling—affect guests' dietary choices and overall health. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines quantitative data from guest surveys and health outcome assessments with qualitative insights from interviews with hotel managers and culinary staff. The findings reveal that hotels that adopt comprehensive food policies that emphasize nutritional balance, transparency, and customization contribute to improved guest health outcomes and greater satisfaction. The study also identifies best practices and potential areas for policy enhancement, providing actionable recommendations for hotels aiming to better meet the nutritional needs of their guests. This research underscores the importance of integrating health-conscious strategies into hotel food policies to promote well-being and enhance the dining experience.
