SEASONAL VARIATIONS AND THEIR EFFECTS ON NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF CHILDREN AGED 6 TO 59 MONTHS IN RURAL AREAS OF UTTAR PRADESH
Abstract
Inadequate healthcare, lack of nutritional education, and social inequality all contribute to child malnutrition, which is a major problem in rural India. This research measures the frequency of malnutrition among children in rural Lucknow ranging from 6 to 59 months old, finds important risk variables, and examines the level of mother awareness of child nutrition. The study used a cross-sectional design and measured mothers' height, weight, and waist circumference in addition to conducting structured interviews.
