Amidst the era of globalization in India, particularly since the nineteenth century, significant transformations have occurred in human lifestyles, industrialization, and workforce demands. While many global development objectives emphasize the creation of new jobs with a focus on quality, the quality of employment emerges as a critical concern at both national and regional levels as the substantial presence of working poor and informal workers in India, (Morsy 2012).
