Task scheduling is a critical aspect of optimizing resource utilization and enhancing performance in cloud computing environments. In this paper, we present a comprehensive survey focused on the application of a hybrid meta-heuristic scheduling approach for independent task scheduling in cloud computing systems. The proliferation of cloud services has led to an increased demand for efficient task scheduling algorithms that can handle dynamic workloads and varying resource requirements. To address this challenge, we propose a hybrid approach that combines multiple meta-heuristic algorithms to achieve better task allocation and resource utilization.
