The Malimath Committee Report, officially known as the Report of the Committee on Reforms of the Criminal Justice System, was a significant document in India's criminal justice system. The committee was chaired by Justice V.S. Malimath, a former Chief Justice of the Karnataka and Kerala High Courts, and its recommendations aimed to address various challenges and issues faced by the criminal justice system in India.
