Abstract

Both organic and inorganic forms of phosphorus are plentiful in soils; yet, they are typically a significant or even the main limiting factor for plant growth. Phosphatesolubilizing microorganisms (PSM) could play a significant role in providing phosphate to plants in a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way to avoid phosphorous deficit.
