The invention of electricity, which is utilised for all kinds of functions in modern society, is the greatest gift that science has ever given to humanity. However, there has been a paradigm change in the generation of electrical energy recently, moving away from the idea of utilising large producing plants and towards smaller generating units connected to distribution networks in the form of microgrids using renewable energy sources. The usage of renewable energy is increasing globally, and these alternative energy sources may provide civilization with electrical energy that is pollution-free. There are still numerous difficulties in operating and controlling isolated and grid-connected microgrids that are designed in both AC and DC, even though they are new centres and units with declining costs. combining the advantages of AC and DC microgrids, hybrid They created AC-DC Microgrids (HACDC). Investigating the ideal HACDC microgrid size, stability control, and operational techniques for economic efficiency is therefore comparatively necessary. As a result, this work provided an excellent evaluation of optimal sizing procedures, stability control, and energy management strategies employing various iterative and intelligence techniques that were published in many studies and suggested by several writers.
