THE ROLE AND IMPACT OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN MODERN SOCIETY
Abstract
Abstract: This paper explores the concept of Emotional Intelligence (EI), its theoretical foundations, and its practical implications in personal, professional, and societal contexts. By analyzing key models, including Goleman’s and Mayer-Salovey’s frameworks, this study highlights the critical role EI plays in decision-making, leadership, conflict resolution, and education. It also examines the methods used to measure EI and the challenges in its development, proposing strategies for fostering EI in individuals and organizations. The findings underscore the transformative potential of EI in enhancing interpersonal relationships and promoting societal well-being.
