Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the moral message provided in Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken," with an emphasis on the issue of life choices and their moral repercussions. The study aims to solve the quandary that people face while making important choices. To do this, the process entails a thorough investigation of the poem's structure, language, and symbolism, as well as a comparison with Frost's other literary works. This research reveals that "The Road Not Taken" investigates the repercussions of choosing an unorthodox route and the ensuing influence on one's life. The poem is a meditation on the decisions people make and the consequences of those actions. It emphasises the need of exploring various pathways and the possible consequences for one's destiny. Furthermore, it emphasises the idea that apparently little decisions may influence one's life path. The research shows the moral message hidden inside the poem by meticulously analysing Frost's poetic skills, including the careful use of words, images, and metaphors.
