Abstract

The fundamental rights are those rights, which are vital for the development of any human being. No one can attain the perfection of his life as a human being in their absence. That’s why there is a long and tedious history behind these rights and India is not an exception. It is evident from human history that all over the world mankind has to wage incessant and long war against the existing regimes to get these rights. This paper is concerned with the meaning, nature, types, scopes and implications of the fundamental rights in Indian democracy.
