Background: A persistent primary public health problem is the emergence and spread of resistant microorganisms. There is a need for effective therapeutic alternatives, especially derived from traditionally utilized medicinal herbs. This study's primary goal was to screen for phytochemicals and assess the antibacterial activity of a selection of Ethiopia's traditionally used medicinal plants.
