Abstract

Without external distractions, solitude enables introspection. In addition to cultivating good thoughts for individuals who are causing negativity in one's life, a person has ample time for self-reflection to choose the best strategy to implement in order to make life tolerable. It is believed that a lone worker is a creative and productive worker. However, everything in excess may be harmful. Additionally, writers have often addressed the problem of living alone. When man, a social animal, loses the desire for human connection, solitude turns into a cause of illness. One Hundred Years of Solitude, a widely read book by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, may resonate with stoics who think that individuals experience periods of solitude due to circumstances that are often not their own.
