Abstract
The assessment of heavy metal toxicity is of paramount importance in safeguarding environmental and human health. This study explores an innovative approach to enhance heavy metal toxicity assessment by employing ciliates, specifically Paramecium and Tetrahymena species, as cellular bioindicators.
