Engineering students’ perception towards Usage, challenges and risks associated with ChatGPT

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate engineering students' perception towards the usage, benefits, challenges, and risk of ChatGPT, a large language model developed by OpenAI. A total of 460 engineering students from different universities and different streams participated in apersonal survey, with structured questionnaire with closed ended questions. A stratified random sampling method adopted for selection of the respondents.
