Abstract

There has been a paradigm change in modern agriculture brought about by the convergence of Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud technologies in sustainable farming. Through the utilization of this connection, real-time data from Internet of Things devices, such as soil sensors, drones, and livestock wearables, is gathered and transmitted to cloud platforms in a seamless manner. Through the synergy, farmers are provided with data-driven insights, which enables them to engage in precision agriculture methods, optimize resource utilization, and make decisions in an effective manner. Several aspects of farming are improved as a result of the collaboration, including the efficient management of water and the efficiency of equipment. Early problem diagnosis is made possible through remote monitoring using Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled drones, which, when combined with cloud analytics, helps to reduce crop losses. An extension of the integration is the creation of collaborative agricultural platforms, which encourage the sharing of resources and the exchange of information among farmers. Agriculture is positioned at the forefront of technological growth thanks to this comprehensive strategy, which encourages innovation, resilience, and sustainability in the agricultural environment. As this integration continues to develop, it has the promise of bettering the future of agriculture around the world by making it more environmentally sensitive.
