With the global population growing exponentially, there is an increasing need to meet the demands for a higher standard of living while also ensuring a sustainable planet for future generations. India's banking sector, particularly the State Bank of India (SBI), has experienced rapid expansion and plays a pivotal role in sustainable development, emerging as a robust and transparent system. Sustainable development encompasses social, economic, and environmental aspects. This paper aims to explore the diverse opportunities for achieving sustainable goals with the support of imperatives outlined by SBI, focusing on the bank's sustainability efforts.
