Through his writings, Orwell has tried to bring about a social regeneration. That is why, he is highly esteemed for his ideas on freedom in the society. Although, he strongly advocated socialism, but he opposed vehemently the orthodoxies and bureaucratic socialism of his time. He saw society not from a distance but after becoming a part and parcel of it.
